چکیده
Currently, the whole world strives for a sustainable development to avoid depletion of natural resources. Therefore, search new biotechnological products such as biosurfactants has generated interest due its low toxicity, biodegradability and ecological acceptability. Furthermore, have several applications emulsification, wettability, foaming, cleaning, reduction crude oil viscosity. The objective this work was identify bacteria collected in Antarctica evaluate their capacity produce biosurfactants. In study, diesel contaminated soil around Comandante Ferraz Antarctic Station were identified (Rhodococcus erythropolis, Rhizobium radiobacter, Microbacterium liquefacien, Pseudomonas libanensis veronii) analyses carried out confirm whether these Interestingly, compounds isolated from showed droplet propagation reduced surface tension water, which are properties carbohydrates molecular composition. Given findings, species potential application areas, bioremediation environments by cosmetic personal care emulsifier. addition, use waste carbon source becomes an attractive alternative because it reduces environmental contamination cost.

Bioremediation of Soil Contaminated by Diesel Oil
Were evaluated natural attenuation, biostimulation and bioaugmentation on the degradation of total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH) in soils contaminated with diesel oil. Bioaugmentation showed the greatest degradation in the light (C12 C23) fractions (72.7%) and heavy (C23 C40) fractions of TPH (75.2%) and natural attenuation was more effective than biostimulation. The greatest dehydrogenase activ...
متن کاملBioremediation of diesel oil-contaminated soil by composting with biowaste.
Soil spiked with diesel oil was mixed with biowaste (vegetable, fruit and garden waste) at a 1:10 ratio (fresh weight) and composted in a monitored composting bin system for 12 weeks. Pure biowaste was composted in parallel. In order to discern the temperature effect from the additional biowaste effect on diesel degradation, one recipient with contaminated soil was hold at room temperature, whi...
متن کاملEffect of nutrient enrichments on the bacterial assemblageof Antarctic soils contaminated by diesel or crude oil
There is an urgent need to develop new technologies to address the problem of soil remediation in high-latitude regions. A field study was initiated in January 1997 in two contaminated soils in Terre Adélie (Antarctica) with the objective of determining the long-term effectiveness of two bioremediation agents on total and hydrocarbondegrading microbial assemblages under severe Antarctic conditi...
متن کاملIsolation of aroclor1254 degrading bacteria in contaminated soil by transformer oil
ABSTRACT- Aerobic biodegradation is an environmental-friendly biological method that allows micro organisms to remove persistent organic pollutants. Aroclor1254 is a mixed compound containing polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) along with persistent organic materials. There is no estimate of Aroclor1254 usage and its release into the environment in Iran. A transformer manufacturing plant in Shiraz...
